Keep on turning crochet blanket: crochet pattern

Notes

  • Gauge: each square should measure 14 x 14 cm (5.5 inch x 5.5 inch). If yours turn out bigger, take a smaller crochet hook. If your square turns out smaller, take a bigger crochet hook.
  • The pattern is written in US crochet terms.
  • The finished size of the blanket is 115 x 140 cm (45 x 55 inch).

The crochet pattern

  • Round1: Ch6, slst to form a ring
  • Round 2: Ch3 (counts as 1 dc), 15 dc into the ring, slst into the first stitch.
  • Round 3: Ch5 (counts as 1dc + ch2), *dc into the next stitch, ch2*, repeat ** 14 times, slst into the first stitch
  • Round 4: Slst into the first ch2 loop, 3ch (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc, ch 1, *3 dc in the ch2 loop, ch 1*, repeat ** 14 times, slst into the first stitch
  • Round 5: Slst in the 1 ch loop before your first stitch, *ch3, sc into the 1 ch space, ch3, sc into the 1 ch space, ch3, sc into the 1 ch space, ch6, sc into the 1 ch space*,  repeat ** 3 times, slst into the first stitch.
  • Round 6: Slst into the first 3 ch loop, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc) 2d, 3d in the two next  3 ch loops, into the 6 ch loop crochet 5dc-ch2-5dc, *3dc into the next  3 3ch loops, 5dc-ch2-5dc into the 6 ch loop*, repeat ** two more times, slst into the first stitch.
  • Round 7: ch3 (counts as a 1dc): in every dc of the last round crochet a dc, in every 2 ch corner loop crochet 1dc-ch2-1dc, slst into the first stitch.
  • Round 8: ch3 (counts as a 1dc): in every dc of the last round crochet a dc, in every 2 ch corner loop crochet 1dc-ch2-1dc, slst into the first stitch.
  • Round 9: Slst into the next stitch, ch3 (counts as 1dc) 1dc in the same stitch, skip a stitch, , *2dc in the next stitch, skip a stitch*, repeat ** 4 times, 2dc-ch1-2dc in the corner, << skip a stitch, *2dc in the same stitch, skip a stitch*, repeat ** 10 times, 2dc-ch1-2dc in the corner >> Repeat << >> 2 times skip a stitch, *2dc in the same stitch, skip a stitch*, repeat ** 4 times, slst into the first stitch.
  • Joining as you go. To join the squares as you go, slst between the 2dc clusters of the last round,  to join the corners you slst into the corner instead of a ch1.

Opmerkingen

  • Elk vierkantje is 14 x 14 cm groot. Komt je vierkantje groter uit, neem dan een kleinere haaknaald. Komt je vierkantje kleiner uit, neem een grotere haaknaald.
  • De afmetingen van je deken zijn 115 x 140 cm.

Het haakpatroon

  • Tour 1: 6l, hv om een ring te maken
  • Tour 2: 3l (telt als 1st), 15 stokjes in de ring, hv in de eerste steek
  • Tour 3: 5l (telst als 1st + 2l), *st in de volgende steek, 2l*, herhaal ** 14 keer, hv in de eerste steek
  • Tour 4: hv om in de eerste 2l-boog te komen, 3l (telt als 1st), 2st, 1l, *3st in de 2l-boog, 1l*, herhaal ** 14 keer, hv in de eerste steek.
  • Tour 5: hv in het boogje vóór je eerste steek, *3l, v in het 1l-boogje, 3l, v in het 1l-boogje, 3l, v in het 1l-boogje, 6l, v in het 1l-boogje*, herhaal ** 3 keer, hv in de eerste steek.
  • Tour 6: hv in de eerste 3l-boog, 3l (telt als 1st), 2st, 3st in de volgende twee 3l-boogjes, in het 6l-boogje haak je 5st – 2l – 5st, *3st in de 3 3l-boogjes, 5st- 2l – 5st in het 6l-boogje*, herhaal ** nog 2 keer, hv in de eerste steek.
  • Tour 7: 3l (telt als 1st), in elk st van de vorige tour 1st, in het 2l-boogle in de hoeken haak je 1st – 2l – 1st, hv in de eerste steek.
  • Tour 8: 3l (telt als 1st), in elk st van de vorige tour 1st, in het 2l-boogle in de hoeken haak je 1st – 2l – 1st, hv in de eerste steek.
  • Tour 9: Hv in de volgende steek, 3l (telt als 1 st), 1st in dezelfde steek, sla een steek over, * 2st in de volgende steek, sla een steek over*, herhaal ** 4 keer, 2st – 1l – 1st in de hoek, << sla een steek over, *2st in dezelfde steek, sla een steek over, herhaal ** 10 keer, 2st – 1l – 2st in de hoek >> Herhaal << >> 2 keer, sla een steek over, *2st in dezelfde steek, sla een steek over*, herhaal ** 4 keer, hv in de eerste steek.
  • Haak de vierkanten aan elkaar vast. Haak de vierkanten aan elkaar vast als je aan Tour 9 bezig bent, je maakt de vierkanten aan elkaar vast door een hv tussen de 2st-clusters in te haken, in de hoeken haak 1hv in plaats van 1l.

Hello Esther,
wat een mooi patroon, ik wil meteen aan het werk!
ik heb wel een vraag voor je: ik ga de kleuren-verloop iets anders aanpakken (ipv paarse gedeelte wil ik de geel weer spiegelen). Hoeveel vierkantjes kan ik rekenen per bol Metropolis? dan weet ik genoeg om mijn bestelling te plaatsen 😉
